  Assalamualaikum, this week 10, my lecturer taught us via online slide about  measurements, indices, and indicators for Sustainable Development and the SDGs  , Prof. Dr. Suhaimi also conducted a online quiz through Google Form which is included from Week 1 until Week 9. Here is my reflection:     Based on the learning about this topic , it made me aware that sustainability is should be measured to be a important data or statistic for our future generations. SDG Week 9 : Field Works - On Campus Observation IIUM as Sustainable Campus : Student as Agent of Change

  Assalamualaikum, today on Week 9, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi have a online class with his student through Zoom. Prof. Dr. Suhami explained on his student about Campus Observation IIUM as Sustainable Campus . My lecturer highlighted his student to be a responsible and apply sustainable practices in daily life. Due to that, I must to take  meaningful photos related to our observations on campus to promote sustainability. After our observation, I wrote three lessons based on our chosen location that I visited. Here is my reflection :     According to several  pictures reflect a meaningful lesson for our society. SDG Week 8: Roles of Institution for Sustainable Development

  Assalamualaikum, after the mid-sem break, we returned to our online class. Prof. Dr. Suhami focused on roles of instituition for sustainable development. Before that, our lecturer ask his student regarding on our group project's progress. After that, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi discussed in class were the roles of global and national institutions in achieving SDGs, the roles of local institutions and the roles of individuals. Here is my reflection :      First of all,   i nstitutions play a important role at all individual levels in achieving sustainable development. Institutions must serve as the architects of progress by focusing on p olicy development and implementation , which creates the legal frameworks necessary for sustainable growth. SDG Week 7 : Challenges to Sustainable Development

  Assalamualaikum, on week 7, our class was held online through Zoom. Prof. Dr. Suhaimi discussed about the challenges to sustainable development through various aspects of life such as economy and social. In this week also i have a group consultation with Prof. Dr. Suhaimi in his room in KENMS. We was updating on our current group project which is 'Wasatiyyah in Wudhu : Promoting Water Conservation through Islamic perspective'. There are many challenges that we face to achieve the sustainability. Here is my reflection :     Firstly, i aware that  one of challenges to sustainability are lack of access to educational resources such as health facilities, nutritious food and clean water. SDG Week 6 : Roles of Universities and Sustainable Development

  Assalamualaikum, we've reached week 6. Prof. Dr. Suhaimi explained the roles of universities and sustainable development in online class, he also ask our opinion about the role of university in applying sustainable practices. Due to that, I choose some location in the IIUM Gombak Campus that reflects aspects of sustainable development. I took meaningful photos highlighting the university's role in promoting sustainability. Then, I wrote three important lessons connecting the topic of sustainable development to our chosen site. Here is my reflection :      The University of IIUM has done a lot of awareness of the university's roles in promoting sustainability. One of their efforts around the Mahallah is to put a reminder to switch off the lights before the students leave their room. SDG Week 4 : International Framework of Sustainable Development

  Assalamualaikum, this week 4, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi taught us via online International Framework of Sustainable Development. Prof. Dr. Suhaimi also highlighted a key conventions, declarations agreement and framework of sustainable development. Here is my reflection for this week:     Firstly,  I realized that sustainable development is a responsibility for all mankind in this Earth. According to that, some governments of each countries take a initiative to point out the global crisis like do a conference or provide a ethical framework to address the issues of global environmental.  For instance, e Rio de Janeiro Conference, which took place in 1992, 20 years after Stockholm. SDG Week 5 : Sejahtera as a Local of Sustainable Development

  Assalamualaikum, today on week 5,  Prof. Dr. Suhaimi gave his student a recorded lecture via online platform. My lecturer highlighted about Sejahtera as a Local of Sustainable Development. Not only that, i took initiative to go to Dar al-Hikmah Library of IIUM for seeking information about Sejahtera from several books and references related to the Sejahtera concept for sustainable development. I wrote some lessons about the Sejahtera concept for sustainable development from some reference. In this library, there is a section which is included ISRA and IFBIM, this section aim to educate and integrate the Islamic perspective with the modern knowledge among the students especially in IIUM. SDG Week 3 : Maqasid Shariah

Assalamualaikum, today on week 3, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi taught us via online about Maqasid Shariah, I also went to the IIUM Gallery at the Rectory of the MAF building to do a research about Maqasid Shariah and Sustainable Development. Maqasid al-Shariah targets to achieve human well-being ( maslahah ) and to prevent harm ( mafsadah ). Here is my reflection:    Based on my observation, the  designs showed sustainability using eco-friendly materials with energy-efficient features, integrating with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. The exhibition also served as an interested tool, encouraging awareness about sustainable development and aligning with SDG 4: Quality Education, inspiring future generations to apply sustainable practices.  Then, Maqasid Shariah  protects both people and nature, not just economic growth. SDG Week 2 : Islam and Sustainable Development

Assalamualaikum all, Prof. Dr Suhaimi taught us via online platform. Week 2 was focusing on Islam and sustainable development which we learned about 3 main things, Islam and social sustainability, Islam and environmental sustainability and Islam and economic sustainability. This my reflection for week 2:          First of all,  Prof. Dr. Suhaimi explained that sustainable development is interconnected with Islamic perspective such as human beings and nature under the principle of Tawhid .The concept of khalifah of Allah which we are entrusted to preserve the world responsibly. SDG Week 1 : Introduction to Sustainable Development

      Assalamualaikum all, I joined the Sejahtera class since on week 1, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi has been conducted a online class. Throughout the lecture of Week 1, our lecturer conducted a Taaruf session and briefed about this subject which is related with sustainable development and the concept of sustainability. There are some reflections that we can learn from this session :         Firstly,  Prof. Dr. Suhaimi explained there are 3 main pillars which are: environmental conservation,  economic development  social sustainability This three pillars must be balanced to achieve sustainable development. Development can meet present needs while ensuring a healthy environment, a strong economy, and a fair society for future generations.       Furthermore, our lecturer highlighted the goals, targets, and indicators of SDGs.
